This “take a picture a day” routine is turning out to be like running, cycling, weightlifting – or any other kind of physical exercise, for that matter.
With this I mean that now, after the first 3 months, I’ve ended up the “get into shape” phase, and I’m finally able to do this naturally, in a flow so to speak, without having to consciously thinking about it or having to remember “hey, you have to take a picture before midnight!“.
And, again much like any other kind of training, I can feel the improvements “baking” in the background but they are yet not visible. For them to become obvious, if I got my similarities straight, it will still take a while – well, assuming that there are improvements in the first place!
On a side note, for this 365 project I’m finding myself using my Nokia Lumia 1020 more and more (“the best camera is the one you have with you“), along with a bunch of film cameras whose results I will probably show on a “13th” month at the end of the project – for the obvious reason that film takes time to develop and scan, but also because now the water in my area gets out of the tap at 36°C / 96.8°F (!) so developing film would require messing with ice to keep the temperature down.
Without further ado here are my latest snapshots.
