At times moody, at times relaxing, its waters alternate between surreal stillness and energic waviness, depending on the whims of the wind. The forest surrounding the lake is as well peaceful most of the times, with days where the trees shake like reeds and you cannot almost stand, again due to the strong winds. The relative isolation of this lake makes it the perfect spot for an imaginary nimph or satyre to abscond from the modern world. Lake Ariamacina is a place where time slows down, allowing for quiet introspection and connection with the natural world.
